Promoting health and well being of people by tackling substance misuse in the workplace and in individuals. The Employment Support Service is a new pilot project led by WGCADA to support employers, managers and workers to get the best out of staff by reducing alcohol or drug induced performance issues such as absenteeism, failing performance, risk to staff and customers. We provide Policy advice, implementation, management training and awareness raising for all as well as offerring a specialist counselling service for people who are dealing with substance misuse either personally or throug a loved one. We are sometimes the 'last chance saloon' for some staff facing dismissal or disciplinaries.
