Connect To Work event coming to Bridgend County Borough

A brand new work scheme is launching in Bridgend County Borough, with an upcoming event available for businesses to learn more.

Connect to Work is a new work programme designed to help disabled people, those with health conditions and people with complex barriers to employment, to find sustainable work. We will be at the Heronston Hotel on Thursday 19 March between 8am and 11am, where you can learn how to diversify your workforce with the right talent and training.

As part of the event, you will hear from experts and employers about the benefits of hiring individuals with difficulties and disabilities and just how the right adjustments can improve staff retention, lower sickness rates and help people get into the right work. You will learn how Connect to Work can help support you and potential employees into work and about the continued support after. You will also have the opportunity to not just network with other local businesses but also local public sector organisations.
