Business webinars about the UKCA Mark taking place

Monday 10 October 2022

A series of webinars are taking place this month to help businesses understand the use of the new UKCA mark, which are being run by Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS).

The new UK Conformity Assessed (UKCA) marking rules – replacing the Conformitè Europëenne (CE) mark – will come into force from 1 January 2023.

The UKCA regime seeks to ensure consumers are protected from unsafe, and non-compliant goods.

Between the months of October and December, webinars will be taking place for businesses to learn more about the new UKCA mark coming into effect, with topics that include:

  • What changes to the roles of economic operators will happen
  • The new labelling requirements
  • Placing goods on the market in Great Britain
  • The process and requirements for the new regime, with a focus on construction, medical devices
  • A dedicated Q&A session

Find out more and sign up to the webinars on the UK Government website.
