Bridgend-based startup, Helping Kids Shine Limited, has been named as the ‘Health and Wellbeing StartUp of the Year’ at the Wales finals of the StartUp Awards 2023 on the 22nd of June.
Helping Kids Shine Limited support kids and empower families. They help exhausted parents of young people so that their lived reality is recognised, and life becomes easier.
They work with quirky young people who are struggling to cope in a traditional school environment and help identify strengths and participation challenges whilst supporting them to develop their skills and embracing their uniqueness.
Helping Kids Shine Limited is run by Bryher and Ben Hill, with a growing team of employees. Helping Kids Shine Limited is based in Aberkenfig and provides services across Wales and England.
The StartUp Awards is a collaboration between the founders of the Great British Entrepreneur Awards – an established programme nationally receiving over 5,000 applications annually – and the Wales Start-Up Awards, the only regional awards currently celebrating new businesses in the UK.
