Businesses wanted for Loose Parts project

Businesses in Bridgend County Borough are being encouraged to donate items they no longer need to children’s schools for the Loose parts project.

Loose parts are materials that children can use their imaginations to play with and move around, with items such as:

• Gas & water pipes
• Rope
• Plastic tubes
• Cable reefs
• Cargo nets
• Guttering
• Crates
• Bike & go kart tyres
• Fabric
• Wood
• Old clothing
• Suitcases/bags
• Traffic cones
• Jumbo builders bag
• Bins

The project is run by the Active Young People Department for Bridgend County Borough Council and they will arrange for collection of the items from businesses.
