Financial Support available from Recruit and Train programme

If you’re looking to take on new employees within your business, new funding has launched through the Recruit and Train programme.
Jointly funded by Cardiff Capital Region and the UK Government’s Shared Prosperity Fund, Recruit and Train is offering any business that meets the following criteria an opportunity to receive £2k and expert guidance on continued training and development.
Businesses interested in applying must be:
- a private sector small business employing less than 49 employees and located within Bridgend County Borough (or another of the south east valleys local authorities within the Cardiff Capital Region)
- interested in recruiting for a new or vacant post, with roles being a minimum of 12 months, 30 hours per week and paying the minimum of Real Living Wage
- recruit a new employee aged 18 or over
- not in receipt of any other funding for the recruitment of this post
- recruiting for net zero, green, advanced manufacturing or digital roles
Businesses can apply for up to 5 x £2k for up to 5 appointments.
