Northern Valleys Initiative launched to help transform businesses

A new investment programme aimed at expanding businesses in the Northern valleys has been launched by the Cardiff Capital Region.

The £50m initiative will help to support businesses and projects across Bridgend County Borough that will have the ability to increase prosperity within the region, with a particular focus on high-growth potential businesses that can transform the regional economy.

Typical grants and investments available for successful applicants will range from (but are not limited to), £100k to £2m.

The programme will run over a five-year period with the aim of delivering projects in the 2024-2029 financial years.
