The Energy Bills Discount Scheme is now available for businesses and organisations across Bridgend County Borough. It will provide support with energy bills for non-domestic customers in Great Britain and Northern Ireland, support will be applied automatically.
The scheme has replaced the Energy Bill Relief Scheme that previously supported businesses between October 2022 and March 2023.
The scheme also involves an Energy and Trade Intensive Industries (ETII) discount to provide a higher level of support to businesses in eligible sectors. Businesses will need to register for this discount. The same applies to the Heat Network discount if you are a business with domestic end customers.
Most businesses who are eligible for the discount should expect to see changes reflected in their May bill.
